RAOEN launches interactive mapping platform

The River Above Asia Oceania Ecclesial Network (RAOEN) launches the RAOEN interactive mapping initiative that provides a communication platform for sharing the location of concerns and challenges faced on the ground as well as community initiatives for the care of forests, oceans, and peoples.

Mapping the concerns and responses of local communities in Oceania and Asia highlights the new ecological norm that is being called for by community and Church leaders from the region. Through the RAOEN interactive mapping platform, individuals and groups are able to participate where they are making a difference on the ground, while supporting leaders pushing for systemic change in policy and decision-making, by contributing local data sets, reports, and their own stories.
